Occupational Vision Testing

Some careers—such as policing, piloting, and other safety-sensitive roles—require specialized vision testing. These exams ensure you meet the visual standards needed to perform your job safely and effectively.

Driver’s Vision Testing

In Ontario, certain drivers must have regular eye exams to maintain their driver’s license. This may include:

·       Drivers aged 80 and older — annual eye exams are required

·       Drivers with vision loss caused by conditions such as diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, or stroke — including visual field testing when necessary

These evaluations help protect the safety of both the driver and everyone on the road.
